To those that have wanted to try the wheel, we’re here for you.

To all the previous potters that threw years ago, let’s create together!

Below is information about our Introduction to the Wheel Class as well as our Studio Time package.

Private Wheel Lessons & Studio Time.

It’s time to make some pots!

Introduction to the Wheel

$120/one person; $200/two people; $300/three people

The "Introduction To The Potter's Wheel" class is a two-hour session where students learn to center clay, open the floor and pull walls.

We work with 3, 1-pound chunks of clay and use tools like bats, various ribs, needle tools, sponges, and chammies. Students pick the glazes for their pottery pieces which will be available for pick-up about 4 weeks after the class. (This does not apply for students moving into studio time after their Intro to the Wheel Class.)

Studio Time

4, 4 hour sessions

$380 per person (Available after taking the Introduction to the Wheel class, 18 years of age or older)

Students move into more independent time in the studio, with Jen there as a guide. Students will learn the next steps of pottery to include trimming pots, attaching handles, and glazing. We work through different projects like larger serving dishes, plates, mugs and more, as desired by the student.

Included in the package are 25 pounds of clay and access to my wheels, bats, slab roller, extruder and all 35 dipping glazes plus about 15 brushing glazes. Students need to bring their own pottery tools. (Don’t worry! We’ll pass along some Amazon options that we like.)
